Meet the Doctor

Dr. Lina Suazo was born in a coastal city in Chile. When she was little her mother gave her a toy doctor kit and her father gave her a classic guitar. Well known by those close to her as the “persistent one”, she learned to master both.

Today she calls Nelson home and enjoys dedicating care to her patients. 

After wracking her brain to create a practice where she can do what she loves, partner with patients, she has conceived Kootenay Micro Practice. 

Kootenay Micro Practice was born out of a catalytic event, in the dark midwinter of 2015. After seeing only darkness for the possibility of opening her own practice, the winter solstice’s light shone on ideas that made it possible today to offer her unique care model.
